Privacy Policy
This policy explains what The Harold Advisory Ltd. ("we," "us") collects when you use Onward, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've tried to keep it plain.
Information we collect
- Account details — such as your name and email when you sign up.
- Payment information — handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We receive limited billing details but do not store your full card number.
- What you write — your assessment answers, session inputs, goals, and reflections. Some of this can be personal or sensitive, such as how you're feeling or details about your finances. You choose what to share.
- Usage data — how you use the app, plus standard device and log information, to keep it running and improve it.
How we use your information
To provide and personalize the coaching and tools, generate the documents you build, process payments, communicate with you (including reminders and support), keep Onward secure, and improve it.
AI processing
To generate coaching responses and documents, the text you enter may be sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. We share only what's needed to produce your results.
Who we share with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Onward — for example payment processing (Stripe), AI processing (Anthropic), email delivery, hosting (Cloudflare), and analytics — under agreements that limit how they may use it. We may also disclose information where required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or PIPEDA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email contact@betteronward.com. You can also delete your account at any time.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.
International transfers
Onward is available globally, so your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where we and our providers operate. We take steps to protect it when it's transferred.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
Children
Onward is for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy. If changes are material, we'll take reasonable steps to notify you.
